Many people want to place fresh flowers on their wedding cake to match the bouquets. This is a photo of a cake I made for this purpose. This is a choc-mud cake with orange-liqueur buttercream covered in a white choc ganache - decadance!!

BTW:
if you want to place fresh flowers on your cake make sure they are not poisonous or toxic. For example, roses are actually edible so they are fine, but calla (or arum) lilies are toxic, so should never be placed directly on the icing which will be eaten.
